Huge Black Snake In Malta

While I was walking through a woodland in Malta a huge Black Western Whip snake went past me and hid in a hedge. It was about 3 1/2 foot long, thankfully they are only “mildly venomous” – it’s the second one I’ve seen this week, incredibly fast and utterly beautiful
