Modulation Pedal Basics - Which One Do I Need?

You only have to dip your toes into the world of guitar effect pedals and you’ll be sucked into a whole new world of tonal discovery. The guitar is an expressive instrument and pedals and effects are a great way to further shape your sound. In this video, Ayla Tesler-Mabe gives us the rundown on modulation pedals. What are modulation pedals? Modulation pedals are a type of guitar effect that takes a characteristic and continuously changes it. They have two main parameters: rate and depth. Rate controls the speed or frequency of the effect while depth controls the intensity or amplitude of the effect. #modulation #guitarpedals #aylateslermabe #guitareo Learn Guitar Here: https://guitareo.com ______________________________________________________ Chapters: 0:00 - Intro 0:56 - Basics of modulation pedals 2:00 - Tremolo 3:51 - Vibrato 5:35 - Flanger 6:45 - Phaser 9:24 - Chorus 10:53 - Combining Effect Pedals 11:48 - Uni-Vibe 13:01 - Outro ______________________________________________________ About Ayla Tesler-Mabe: Ayla has been making waves in the world of guitar playing as a professional guitarist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and composer, since the early age of 14. How To Simplify Iconic Riffs (ft. Sultans Of Swing, Sweet Home Alabama, Brown Eyed Girl, and more!)

When you first picked up the guitar, was there a specific riff that inspired you? If there was, then you’re like just about every other guitar player out there. The problem is that most of the time these iconic riffs are incredibly hard to pull off. And playing that legendary lick note-for-note could take years of practice. But what if we told you that you can actually simplify many complicated guitar parts so that even a beginner can play them? In this lesson, Ayla takes five of the most famous guitar riffs ever and makes them completely beginner-friendly. These simplified riffs are a great way to break away from monotonous exercises and actually start having fun playing something your family and friends will recognize. #iconicriffs #leadguitar #aylateslermabe #guitareo Download The Tabs: https://ift.tt/3HjfHw0 Learn Guitar Here: https://guitareo.com ______________________________________________________ Chapters: 0:00 - Intro 1:06 - Sweet Home Alabama 3:46 - Smells Like Teen Spirit 6:05 - Brown Eyed Girl 8:59 - Sultans Of Swing 14:35 - Black Dog 18:11 - Outro 19:12 - Ayla’s challenge ______________________________________________________ About Ayla Tesler-Mabe: Ayla has been making waves in the world of guitar playing as a professional guitarist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and composer, since the early age of 14. How To Fake Your Way Through A Jam Session

As a guitar player, nothing beats jamming with another musician. The problem is that it can be kind of hard to get into. Not to mention it’s intimidating. And if you don’t have any songs in common, you aren’t going to get very far. Well luckily, there are some easy techniques you can use to play along to just about any chord progression out there. There’s this magical scale that you’ve probably heard whispers of called the pentatonic scale. This scale is kind of like a secret weapon that you can pull out whenever you’re unsure of what to play. #pentatonicscale #improvising #aylateslermabe #guitareo Download The Tabs: https://ift.tt/3GWgliQ Learn Guitar Here: https://guitareo.com ______________________________________________________ Chapters: 0:00 - Intro 1:05 - What to do if someone starts playing chords 1:57 - The pentatonic scale (E minor) 3:33 - A different minor key (A minor) 4:41 - What about major keys?
