Best Rolling Stones Riffs from "Some Girls"

The Rolling Stones album "Some Girls" was released in 1978 and was both a critical and commercial success. The album marked a departure from the band's previous work, incorporating elements of punk and disco into their signature blues-rock sound. But as guitar players, the main thing we remember this album for is the iconic riffs. If you take a look at the track list from "Some Girls," you'll quickly notice why this album is so well known for its guitar work, and in this video, you’ll join Ayla as you take a closer look at three of the best guitar moments from the album. These riffs are from the songs "Miss You," "Beast of Burden," and "Shattered."  Download the tabs for this lesson here: ► https://ift.tt/kqte0bW Ready to level up your playing? She has since been featured in Rolling Stone magazine, become a member of the Ernie Ball and Fender family of artists, and earned various Berklee College of Music scholarships. Musically, Ayla finds great pleasure in exploring the numerous avenues available to her through various styles of music, as seen through her work with Calpurnia and Ludic. 5 Levels Of "Jingle Bell Rock"

The Holidays are here, and we’re not wasting any time! In this lesson, Ayla Tesler-Mabe dives into the Christmas classic “Jingle Bell Rock” by Bobby Helms. Just like our other “5 Levels” videos, we’ll be making our way through the song at five different difficulties. Beyond the basic chording and strumming techniques you already know, you’ll need to be ready to play a handful of new chord shapes, double-stops, triads, and even some slides. We’ll kick things off by simply learning the open chords used in this song, which are D major, E minor, and A major. As you progress through the levels, you’ll add a strumming pattern, some chord movements to add colour and highlight the melody, and you’ll even learn the leads, shots, and fills. Once you reach level five, you’ll combine the rhythm and lead guitar parts to play the entire song! It’s a challenge, but if you take it one level at a time, you’ll be playing “Jingle Bell Rock” just like the original recording in no time!
