You've Never Used A Metronome Like This - Guitar Lesson

Lowest Price EVER: Save 50% On The Guitar System ►https://goo.gl/2BZ11Y Metronomes have long been an essential part of a guitarist's toolbox. Most commonly, they're used to practice a technique at a slowly increasing BPM. However, there is a number of ways you can use a metronome to work on different elements of your guitar playing as well. In this guitar lesson, we're joined by Jacob Wiens to talk about an unconventional method for using a metronome. Instead of increasing the speed of the metronome incrementally, we'll be decreasing the speed by cutting it in half. This forces us to fill in the spaces ourselves. Rut Busting Practice Tips for Guitar Players

This is the first session of a 10 week live course/Q&A. Learn more here: http://ift.tt/2IhIS4c It is important that we are all very honest with ourselves about our playing. We all get caught up in gear, tone, taking in resources on the internet, entertainment and it can be difficult to take a good look at your playing with a practical set of eyes. We’re going to discuss several different types of players. You are going to hear personal testimony about what it looks like to truly evaluate playing. Be thinking of answers to the following questions after our session: What are your strengths and weaknesses? What do you enjoy doing? What do you not enjoy doing? How much time do you have? What would be the one aspect of your playing you would like to improve the most?
